It’s getting kind of hard to believe things are going to better.
I’ve been drowning too long to believe that the tide’s going to turn.
And I’ve been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now.
I’m still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I’ve learned.
And if I see Van Helsing I swear to the Lord I will slay him.
He’d take it from me, but I swear I won’t let it be so.
Blood will run down his face when he is decapitated. AH!
His head on my mantle is how I will let this one know: how much I love you.
Die. Die. Die.
I can’t.

Jason Segel – Dracula’s Lament

Alissa Šnaider: “I have been thinking about Dracula for a long time now, also saw him in my dreams. I am curious about the unknown forces that make Dracula change shapes, move objects and hypnotise people. Blood and garlic are not my things. I also like a lot the idea that vampires are questing morals and norms of society, what is good/evil. Where is the borderline? And what scares me is the power of a creature like that over me, who decides whether to take my life or give an eternal one. How is it to be in a vacuum or in an endless situation with no solution?”

"Dr. Acula"  is the first circus performance of Alissa. One of the most difficult subjects during the process was to define a border between where circus begins and when choreography and dance are being born. The first experience in making a circus performance led Alissa to a point where she fell in love with circus. She started her career as a student in Fine 5 dance school. She has worked together with Sasha Pepelyaev, Krõõt Juurak, Marten Spangberg and Sandra Z (together they also created a music band QueeNNaive).
